Annapolis Valley has three bogs currently supplying the industry, one in New Brunswick and the other two in PEI.
Peat comes in following size bales (CF): 3.8, 4.0, 5.5, 6.0, and 55.
Export markets outside of the US/Canada such as Japan, Central and South America, Mexico and many other countries are met from the bogs in PEI.
